private jet

As 2008 comes to a close, private jet company Oxygen 4 weighs in on the top ten private jet destinations for the year. Despite the credit crunch in 2008, luxury hotels and private jet services are continuing business as usual in some of the world’s most sought-after destinations.
Leading off the list is the luxury ski resort Courchevel in the French Alps. Its classy elegance and timeless quality keep the jetsetters coming back for more challenging runs on the powdery slopes. According to leading private air charter broker Oxygen 4, Courchevel is the ski resort at which to see and be seen. Oxygen 4 notes a new wave of travellers flying into Courchevel from Russia this year as they head to the top ski resorts in the French Alps region. Rounding out the top three on the list are sister ski resorts St. Moritz and Sion.
The next two destinations are also luxury winter destinations and prime ski resorts for the discerning traveler. Kitzbühel and Bolzano in northern Italy come in at fourth and fifth, respectively. For the warmer destinations, the Côte D’Azur has the sun-kissed beaches and picturesque villages that travellers desire most. Private jet charter broker Oxygen 4 highlights Antibes and Cap Ferrat as the most popular locations on the sparkling coast. Coming in as second favorite is Sardinia, Italy followed by Tuscany, Italy and Girona, Spain. An increasingly popular private jet charter destination is Crete with its newly developed luxury resorts and stunning accomodations.
According to Oxygen 4, jet charter clients are not only choosing where they want to go, but they are also making sure they arrive in style. The most popular private jet charter aircraft is the Challenger 604. The Challenger 300 is a less costly jet charter option, though has the same size cabin as the 604 and can fly seven hours from one end of Europe to the other without refueling. Oxygen 4, which specializes in Russian and European markets, also highlights the Cessna Sovereign as a favorite among travelers flying short distances.
Oxygen 4 is a UK-based private aviation company that works primarily with private jet charters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is also developing private jet routes with Russia, the Middle East and Asia.
